SAP begins phased availability of Joule Work and agent development tools

SAP says phased general availability is underway for Joule Work and Joule Studio, expanding access to tools that execute business workflows and build enterprise AI agents. Joule Work lets users describe a goal and coordinates agents, applications and data across SAP and other systems. The rollout includes workflow reasoning with audit trails, role-based permissions and human checkpoints. Joule Studio agents can deploy on its runtime and become accessible through Joule Work conversations. A separate Enterprise AI Gateway for centralized authentication, policy enforcement, routing and usage monitoring is planned for general availability in Q1 2027.
