Arm partners show rack designs supporting up to 336 AGI CPUs

Arm partners show rack designs supporting up to 336 AGI CPUs Image: Primary
Arm says Supermicro presented rack designs supporting 128 and 336 Arm AGI CPUs at the OCP Global Summit 2026. The 128-CPU configuration uses a 21-inch liquid-cooled design; the wider configuration supports 336 CPUs. The designs combine compute density, power delivery, cooling and serviceability for different data center requirements. FuriosaAI also demonstrated a system pairing Arm AGI CPU with RNGD accelerators, dividing agent orchestration and tool execution from model processing. Arm cited Signal65 analysis showing average modeled performance per rack of 1.99x an AMD EPYC 9755 configuration across seven agent workloads. Those rack results were modeled from independently verified server measurements, rather than measured on complete racks.
