Rust to stop distributing compiler tools for 32-bit Windows hosts

Rust to stop distributing compiler tools for 32-bit Windows hosts Image: Primary
Rust will stop distributing host tools, including its compiler, for two 32-bit Windows targets with Rust 1.100.0, the Rust project announced. Developers building 32-bit Windows binaries will need to cross-compile from a supported host, such as 64-bit Windows. The change covers i686-pc-windows-msvc and i686-pc-windows-gnu. Rust cited compiler crashes with the MSVC target and out-of-memory failures during LLVM builds with the GNU toolchain. Prebuilt standard libraries will remain available for now, and the MSVC target will retain continuous integration testing. Other 32-bit platforms are unaffected.
