Vercel changes Flags SDK to shorten startup and usage reporting

Vercel changes Flags SDK to shorten startup and usage reporting Image: Primary
Vercel says its Flags SDK now initializes faster during cold starts and no longer keeps functions running after sending a response to report usage. Applications must update to version 1.5.3 or later and redeploy. The SDK loads bundled flag data when the client is created and checks its revision without a network request. Internal testing reduced p75 cold-start initialization from over 70 ms to 10 ms. Usage events now pass to the Vercel runtime instead of using waitUntil, eliminating the additional function duration previously required for reporting.
