llm-d releases version 1.0 with stable interfaces and shared inference controls

IBM Image: Primary
The coalition behind llm-d has released version 1.0 of its open-source framework for coordinating language-model servers, Tech Times reported. The release introduces stable configuration interfaces, controls that allocate capacity among tenants, and mechanisms for upgrading servers without dropping traffic. The framework routes requests toward servers that already hold reusable prompt calculations and can separate prompt processing from token generation. Session-aware routing keeps conversations on a server holding their cached context until it fills up. The project remains at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation's Sandbox tier; version 1.0 is its own declaration of production readiness.
