AWS adds model-level Bedrock spending filters to billing tools

AWS says finance and platform teams can now analyze Amazon Bedrock spending by model, provider, inference type and feature in its billing tools. Cost Explorer and Cost Management Dashboards support grouping and filtering by these attributes, while AWS Budgets supports filtering budgets, including alerts for spending on a single model. Teams can combine the attributes with cost allocation tags to identify applications driving model spending, or with IAM principal tags to identify users and roles. The feature is available at no additional charge across AWS Regions except AWS GovCloud (US), China (Beijing) and China (Ningxia).
