IT and communications provider Flotek Group has acquired Fife-based Comvista Networks, its 17th acquisition, Business Sale reported. The deal expands Flotek's presence in Scotland and gives it direct access to expertise in physical network infrastructure. Founded in 2008, Comvista provides structured cabling, connectivity, optical fibre and communications services across Scotland and the wider UK. Its work includes designing, installing, testing and commissioning networks for businesses, public-sector bodies and local government. The acquisition builds on an existing working relationship between the companies. Comvista's experience spans multi-site developments, care settings, construction projects, offshore installations and water management facilities.
