Introducing the ChatGPT for small business program

OpenAI announced the launch of its ChatGPT for small businesses program on July 21, 2026. The initiative aims to help small businesses increase productivity and scale using ChatGPT through virtual training, in-person academies, new guides, and partner integrations. The program includes hands-on virtual training, product-specific webinars, in-person small business AI academies across the US, new content from customer stories and interactive guides, and access to plugins and special offers from partners such as Dropbox, Shopify, Intuit, Slack, Atlassian, and Wix. OpenAI said the program will feature partner webinars and Q&As to provide clear takeaways that apply immediately to business operations. Attendees will see demos with specific small business use cases, get prompts to try, and learn automations and workflows across accounting, marketing, ecommerce, and more. The company noted that at its Small Business AI Jams last year, 78% of participants built a functional AI workflow in a single day and 42% saved more than five hours a week with the help of AI. OpenAI said it is excited to recreate this success this year. The program also includes new agents and partners built for small business workflows, with exclusive promotions to make it easier to get started with existing tools. Business owners can join the program and provide feedback through webinar Q&As, conversations at local events, and surveys to help shape future product roadmap and resources. Sign up is available via a form to receive updates and opportunities to participate.
