CureMeAbroad closes $1.1 million pre-seed round Image: Primary
CureMeAbroad announced the close of a $1.1 million pre-seed round led by SteerX Ventures, with additional investment from AIRA. The cross-border healthcare platform will use the capital to expand its hospital network, enter new patient source markets and develop its technology and teams. The platform lets patients compare hospitals, check accreditation, obtain treatment estimates and book care. The company says its network spans six countries and it supports more than 22,500 visitors a month. It also plans to expand into non-elective specialties, including orthopaedics and oncology, while exploring physical experience centres.
