Salesforce pledges free Slack Enterprise access for UK students

Salesforce pledged free Slack Enterprise access for millions of higher and further education students in the UK. Participating colleges and universities would use the platform for teaching, campus services and collaboration, with Slackbot included to answer questions using accessible workspace files and discussions. Institutions retain administrative control and can set permissions and guardrails. Salesforce says student data will not be used to train external AI models. Universities can also introduce AI agents into channels to handle student service queries and assist research teams.
