DPRK job-fraud activity extends to healthcare and sales roles
Image: Primary Investigations have identified suspected North Korean workers in sales, marketing, and healthcare roles, extending an employment-fraud scheme previously associated with IT hiring, The Hacker News reported. The workers allegedly use stolen or forged identities, VPNs, proxies, and laptop-farm tools to conceal their locations. One Australian healthcare case involved three employees impersonating Chinese individuals, while another investigation found a sales and marketing hire suspected of using a stolen or borrowed identity.
