Palantir and Armada field containerized AI data centers with Nvidia B300s for disconnected sites

Palantir and AI infrastructure company Armada are deploying open AI models inside mobile, containerized data centers built for remote sites and active combat zones, UNITED24 Media reported, citing a July 26 account from Palantir forward deployed architect Chad Wahlquist. Each module includes its own compute, storage, networking, and cooling. Servers use Nvidia B300 accelerators, and Palantir's modular AIP platform ties models to operational workflows and other company tools. Unlike conventional cloud systems, the centers can process data without a constant public-cloud link and can be fully isolated when security requires it. UNITED24 Media described the result as a self-contained node for intelligence, sensor feeds, and other sensitive information at the point of collection, aiming to cut delays and limit data exposure when links are jammed or destroyed. The same architecture is positioned for critical infrastructure in remote or high-risk areas.
