Clipto raises $15 million at $250 million valuation for local AI media search
Image: Primary Clipto has raised $15 million in an all-equity round at a $250 million post-money valuation. The startup indexes video, audio, images, meetings and documents on users' computers, allowing people or authorized AI tools to search the files by description. Founder Henry Kang said the company added Model Context Protocol support about two weeks ago and processes indexed material locally. Clipto said the new funding will support AI models, consumer-hardware computing infrastructure and more AI-agent integrations.
