Anthropic reportedly licenses Opaque technology and hires its leaders

Anthropic reportedly licenses Opaque technology and hires its leaders Image: Primary
Anthropic is licensing Opaque Systems' technology for running AI on confidential data and hiring some of its engineers, including CEO Aaron Fulkerson and CTO Rishabh Poddar, Rohan Paul reported. Opaque runs AI jobs inside hardware-sealed environments that generate cryptographic evidence of each run. This lets banks or hospitals verify which code accessed their records, on which machine and under which rules, addressing exposure when encrypted data is decrypted in memory. Anthropic was already an Opaque customer. Neither company has said whether Opaque's platform will continue serving ServiceNow, Accenture and its other customers under the arrangement.
