S-Transistors, a Finnish VTT spin-off, raised €2.6 million in pre-seed funding to develop superconducting-transistor products for cryogenic signal control, build a cryogenic laboratory and pilot manufacturing line, and expand its team. The company says its first product will be a multiplexer for existing cryogenic setups and plans to ship it to early customers and strategic partners in its first year. Its longer-term quantum-motherboard concept remains a company vision for controlling qubit processors at millikelvin temperatures.
