Apple Music to display provider-tagged AI-song labels
Apple Music will soon visibly label songs that content providers tag as materially generated using AI, according to an email to industry partners reported by Billboard. The service had previously announced AI Transparency Tags for songs; this change makes those disclosures visible to users. The report does not specify a launch date, how providers determine whether a song is materially AI-generated, or which territories the labels will cover.
