Amazon announced a U.S. beta plugin Wednesday that lets sellers manage their Amazon accounts through Anthropic's Claude or Amazon's Quick assistant. Sellers can check inventory, change prices and update listings without opening Seller Central. The plugin brings listings, inventory, sales analytics and performance data into the assistant, with sellers choosing which data it can access and approving each action. Amazon also announced background automations that can act with seller approval and an upgraded Seller Assistant that remembers pricing and inventory patterns. The outside-assistant plugin is limited to Amazon's U.S. stores during the beta, and Amazon decides which assistants it supports.
