Intuit agreed to acquire Sequence, which manages customer contracts, billing, collections and revenue accounting, Subscription Insider reports. The QuickBooks parent plans to integrate its capabilities into Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced, extending support for negotiated contracts, usage charges and minimum spending commitments. Sequence uses AI agents to read contracts, prepare billing information and draft payment reminders. Its billing engine calculates charges using defined pricing rules and contract terms, with finance teams able to review agent work. The acquisition has not closed, and the companies have not disclosed a purchase price. Pricing and availability for the integrated offering have not been announced.
