Adobe and Nvidia expand GPU acceleration across creative tools

Adobe and NVIDIA Image: Primary
Adobe and Nvidia announced expanded GPU acceleration for Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D and Frame.io, with the companies claiming up to 2x faster AI processing, editing, color and effects on RTX Spark. The chip launches Oct. 16; the applications use its unified memory and AI computing capacity. Frame.io's updated pipeline moves video decoding, preprocessing and the generation of searchable content representations onto Nvidia GPUs. Early results from selected workloads show approximately 5x faster generation of those representations and a 4-5x improvement in P95 processing latency. A version of Adobe Brand Concierge using Nvidia Nemotron open models will reach enterprise customers later this year.
