OpenAI has reportedly begun giving some major customers the option to pay only when its AI completes tasks, according to sources cited by The Information. The arrangement has started in recent months, the report said. Salesforce and other AI providers are also testing outcome-based pricing, placing more of the commercial model around a completed task rather than access or usage alone.
