Temporal adds automatic scaling for Cloud Run workers in preview

Temporal adds automatic scaling for Cloud Run workers in preview Image: Primary
Google announced a preview that lets Temporal Cloud automatically scale background workers running in Google Cloud Run worker pools, including reducing the pool to zero when no tasks remain. Workers execute queued tasks for applications such as AI agents, billing systems and batch processing. Temporal monitors task queues and changes the pool's instance count through the Cloud Run Admin API, using permissions customers grant. Workers remain in the customer's project, network and service account. Separate pools preserve the code versions needed by existing workflows. Starting instances takes time; customers needing immediate execution after idle periods must keep a minimum above zero. Preview APIs and configuration may change.
