Libghostty 1.0 adds stable C interface and distribution packaging

Libghostty released version 1.0 of its terminal-emulation library, establishing a stable C interface and compatibility policy for applications that embed it. The release adds build tooling, signed source archives and dependency manifests for packaging through operating-system distributions. The project says automated checks enforce compatibility on Linux, macOS and WebAssembly. Distributions can build the library offline using a companion archive containing its Zig dependencies. Neovim has approved a change replacing libvterm with libghostty-vt, but maintainers were waiting for a tagged release before merging so distributions could package the dependency separately. The library is MIT licensed and has a release cycle separate from the Ghostty application.
